The Department of Defense’s Base Realignment Commission has ordered the closing of the Willow Grove Naval Air Base. Now Politicians in Washington and Harrisburg plan to convert the former base into an airport for civilian use.
This will increase vehicle traffic, air traffic and noise pollution while
decreasing community safety and property value. The threat to our community and neighbors is imminent.
We now have a great opportunity to to ensure a better and beneficial future for the former Willow Grove Naval Air Base. Don’t let politicians waste it.
